You might possibly be able to connect your TV to the Sky Go online TV service but you need a Sky subscription for that so hardware as in a box and dish would come with the deal. I didn't know about those, and thought it was as AndyCob described. I was wondering given that my tv is connected to the sky box and the internet, could the tv be used to get sky anytime plus. I tried connecting an ethernet cable between the tv and the sky box but it did not seem to work although i am not sure if i also need to change some settings?

I could try using the tv to access sky go but the internet feature on the samsung is quite clunky and woud prefer to just access sky anytime plus through the sky box controls. Speeds vary by location.
