Rapture v2 driver

I got one but so far don't like it as much as my V1 My initial impression , after 7 rounds of golf, is that the Blueboard is a much softer playing shaft than the TFC. The V1 has a composite crown which makes for a softer impact sound. The V2 is all Ti so it has a louder sound. Performace-wise I assume the two drivers are similar, the most significant difference being the impact sound. That's only an assumption, though, because I have not played a V2.

I installed a. I cut it at 44" and lead taped back to D1. I am about avg SS and assuming I dont have my head up my rear when I swing , I am consistantly in the range GPS measuered and have had several over It is a nice muted "crack" at impact, but scary long. Yes the V1 is king The sweetspot may be smaller but i haven't noticed big loss on off center hits. Just tip the blueboard 1 inch and the combo is very very long.

The whole ping staff played the V1 rapture, but only hunter plays the V2. That should say something. Some guys gave me his BB so I stuck it in my V1. The OG Rapture V1 is my preference by a lot. It sets up better, sounds better, and actually is identical in the forgiveness dept for me. If you hit the V1 rapture hard it makes a nice crack sound. Love it.

Any truth to this? I love this driver; the sound at impact, the high tech look, I have three of them! Better feel and look than the V2. Put a good shaft that fits you in this driver and its hard to beat. Best overall feel to a driver ive played. I have hit and played them all and I am back to original Rapture. It is very straight and long enough. I have tried many of the new sticks out, Taylor you name it and well, back to old Rapture and very happy.

A baby cut bombing machine with a Wboard 73x in it Own a V1 with a Motore F1 65g in X-stiff. They are different clubs completely. I agree the V2 is a little more forgiving, but the V1 is "sneeky long" thanks to the composite head. You can post now and register later.
