General Comment could be about his wedding day? General Comment I think this song is firstly touching on violence in relationships. The opening 4 lines suggest that, and this girl kept going back to this person even though he kept mistreating her,but that was something that happened in the past with this person he is currently with. And he is basically telling the story from the time of the wedding day or something like that. And I think the last 6 lines is basically a way of saying, I don't know what will happen between us in the future "And in everything I've seen, I am open to everything".
And the other four lines are basically saying, death will do us part, but in that time I will stay with you and try take away all the pain you ever experienced or may experience in your life "And clearly I will stay and wipe the blood from, Your white wedding dress" FFAF song meanings can be so complicated sometimes, and mean something completely different to what the lyrics look like they're saying, so I may be completely wrong.

General Comment to me it seems that he's saying that he was with a girl then they broke up and she goes off with another guy and then get's married,and even though she is getting married he still wants to be there and do all that is possible to help General Comment this song is so emotional, matt davies really gets his feelings accross in his singing, and seeing Ffaf live was THE best gig i have ever been to.
I think that Matt is talking about a relationship in which he knew he wasnt loved as much as he should have been, but he felt tied down for whatever reason, in the same way that marriage ties you down.
